ItihasVarta is being built as a considered space to read India’s past through evidence, argument and interpretation — not just dates, dynasties and memorisation.
History is not a list of answers. It is a conversation between evidence, interpretation and time.
ItihasVarta will explore the people, ideas, institutions, societies, conflicts and cultures that shaped the Indian subcontinent — while paying close attention to the sources through which we know them.
The aim is to make serious history engaging without making it shallow, and scholarship accessible without reducing the past to memorised facts.
